2011 Solutions to Poverty Schedule Overview as of Oct 18

The inaugural interdisciplinary methodology conference: Building Solutions to Poverty – Methods and Metrics for Identifying Success was held on October 19-21, 2011.

This unique conference brought together a diverse group of innovative experts in methodology, poverty research, community engagement strategies, and public policy to strengthen the design, implementation, and evaluation of poverty interventions and solutions. Given the complexity of poverty itself, this is a challenging but crucially important task, and one that warrants the engagement of multiple paradigms, multiple disciplines, and multiple perspectives on statistical methods, research design, measurement, and evaluation.  Plans are underway for this bi-annual conference to be held again in 2013. Check back for more details.
